Abstract
原子炉格納容器において、原子炉圧力容器下方に炉心溶融物保持装置(コアキャッチャ)を設置すると、原子炉圧力容器下方のペデスタル床にて原子炉圧力容器の漏水を検知することができず、別途漏水検知をする機構を設ける必要がある。原子炉圧力容器(1)と炉心溶融物保持装置(10)の間に、ペデスタル側壁(22)を横架した漏水検知床(11)を設ける。原子炉圧力容器(1)で漏水が発生すると漏水検知床が漏水を受け止めて検知し、炉心溶融事故時はコリウムが漏水検知床(11)を溶融貫通して炉心溶融物保持装置(10)に落下する。
