Abstract

A transmission device capable of controlling rotation of output means according to a rotational difference between an input shaft and the output means, having a reduced number of parts, made in a compact size, and having a simple structure. The transmission device has the input shaft (11), an eccentric guide plate (13), second input means, an internally-externally toothed gear (19), and the output means. The eccentric guide plate (13) is supported centered on the axis of the input shaft (11) and has an eccentric guide section (12) having a center at an eccentric position different from the rotation center of the eccentric guide plate (13). The second input means rotationally drives the eccentric guide plate (13) via power transmission means. The internally-externally toothed gear (19) has a circular hollow cylindrical guide section (16) guided by the eccentric guide section (12) and is provided with external teeth (17) and internal teeth (18) having an axis at the position of eccentricity of the eccentric guide plate (13). The output means has a rotation center coaxial with the input shaft (11) and has internal connection teeth (20) meshing with the external teeth (17). The internal teeth (18) are connected to the input shaft (11) via a gear connection mechanism (22) and revolve the internally-externally toothed gear (19) around the eccentric guide section (12) while rotating the gear (19) according to a difference in the number of rotation between the input shaft (11) and the second input means.
