Abstract

 1つの表示ラインを2本の表示電極からなる表示電極対で構成し、偶数表示ラインの前記表示電極対と奇数表示ラインの前記表示電極対とが交互に配列されたプラズマディスプレイパネル(10)と、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの上下に隣接する1つの偶数表示ライン及び1つの奇数表示ラインを1組として同一表示データを基に表示するために前記表示電極に電圧を供給する駆動回路(20,30)とを有し、前記駆動回路は、前記1組を構成する偶数表示ラインの表示電極対の放電電圧と奇数表示ラインの表示電極対の放電電圧とが異なるように前記表示電極対に電圧を供給することを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置が提供される。
