Abstract

Method of operation of the electronic system of SMS tickets, certification and check on connected with at least one mobile operator communication network is defined as follows: A short text message is sent to a specific telephone number which is used for the placement of an order for the issue of SMS ticket. The order is accepted by the electronic SMS ticket system which processes the request on the spot, issues an electronic SMS ticket according to a default type of fare and provides it with a unique identification security code and other data. The SMS ticket is then sent through the mobile operator's network back to the mobile telephone of the user who placed the order and is stored in the electronic SMS ticket system for potential later inspection. The system for the operation of the electronic system for the sale of SMS tickets connected with at least one mobile operator communication network is defined as follows: The electronic system for the sale of SMS tickets contains reception means for paid direct access and for the automated receipt of SMS tickets orders from a remote universal communication facility which is at least temporarily connected to at least one mobile operator communication network and is capable of communicating not only with the electronic SMS ticket system which further contains generating facilities for the automated generation of SMS tickets, delivery facilities for the delivery of each single identifier to the relevant remote facility and memory facilities for the safe storage of information regarding issued SMS tickets.

Claims

AMENDED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on 3 August 2009 (03.08.2009)
1. A method for operating electronic SMS ticketing and to certify and review it when a short mobile telephone SMS text message is sent through at least one of a mobile operator's own communications networks to a given telephone number for placing orders to display SMS tickets, which the operator's communication network accepts and forwards to the processing SMS electronic ticketing system, c h a r a c t e r i z e d b y t h e f a c t t h a t a request taken from the operator's communications network (4) is processed at a given time and an electronic SMS ticket according to a preset ticket type is issued, which is provided by a unique identification security HASH code and other non-mandatory data, such as the reviewer's auxiliary code, data about when the SMS ticket expires and data about the mass transit operator, and subsequently the SMS ticket is transferred to the operator's communications system (4) and then sent back as an SMS message to the user's mobile telephone (3), which processes the order while all data about the SMS ticket is stored together with the transfer, i.e.: the unique identification security HASH code; user's telephone number and the other non-mandatory items shown above in the electronic SMS ticket system (1), for possible later review and/or processing of tax records and/or display of a duplicate SMS ticket, whereas the SMS ticket is paid for by sending an order to display the SMS ticket in the form of an SMS message to the given telephone number in the operator's communication network (4).

The method according to Claim 1 , c h a r a c t e r i z e d b y a review of the SMS ticket at the reviewer's mobile facilities for using the SMS ticket review system (2), i.e. either by sending an auxiliary code and/or the unique identification security HASH code for the SMS ticket and/or the telephone number of the reviewing user's mobile telephone (3) when the SMS ticket sent to the user is displayed, and it is stated whether the 14
data displayed on the user's mobile telephone (3) are consistent to the data displayed on the remote universal communications SMS ticket review system (2).

The method according to Claim 2, characterized by the fact that a review is conducted by sending a control SMS message by using the SMS ticket review system (2) to the user's mobile telephone (3) that is purchasing the SMS ticket, where the receipt of the control SMS message at the user's mobile telephone (3) confirms the SMS ticket's validity for that user.

The method according to Claim 1, and any of Claims 2 or 3, c h a racte rized by th e fact th at in the case of any loss a short SMS text message is sent to the given telephone number for placing an order to display a duplicate SMS ticket, i.e. in the form of a predefined order for a duplicate which is accepted by the operator's communications network (4), and this short SMS text message is transferred to the electronic SMS ticketing system (1 ), which processes the request at a given time, issues a duplicate electronic SMS ticket based on the already existing SMS ticket recorded in the electronic SMS ticketing system (1 ) for that user and forwards the duplicate SMS ticket in the form of data through the operator's communications network (4), which sends it back to the user's mobile telephone (3) in the form of an SMS message.

The method according to Claim 1 and any of Claims 2-4, c h a ra cte rize d by the fact th at a tax record is issued by means of an Internet browser at a given Internet address, whereas the SMS ticket's unique identification security HASH code in the electronic SMS ticketing system (1) and/or the telephone number of the user's mobile telephone (3) is entered and the electronic SMS ticketing system (1) forwards to the operator's communications network (4) the data 15
necessary to send a verifying SMS message with the code that is used as a verifying entry code at the given Internet address into the electronic SMS ticketing system (1 ), which displays applicable information about SMS tickets for the given user's telephone number.

The system for executing the method according to Claim 1 and any of Claims 4 and 5, where this system is linked with at least one communications network (4) of a mobile operator and includes reception means for charged incoming access and for automatically receiving SMS ticket orders from remote universal communications facilities, at least temporarily connected to at least an operator's communications network and able to communicate not just with the electronic SMS ticketing system, and also including reception means and delivery facilities for receiving and delivering individual identifier to applicable remote facilities in an operator's communications network and memory means for securely retaining information about issued SMS tickets, c h a r a c t e r i z e d b y t h e f a c t t h a t the electronic SMS ticketing system (1 ) connected to an output of a block (5) of reception means consists of a storage block (1 1 ) for saving an SMS ticket request in the form of data containing the passenger's mobile telephone number and the date and time of the issued request and identifying the operator's communication network (4) where the output of the storage block (1 1 ) for saving an SMS ticket request is connected through the SMS ticket issuing block (12) and a block (13) for generating ticket validity to the input of a block (14) for generating a unique identification security HASH code, which is further connected through a generating block (15) producing the auxiliary code to the input of a block (16) generating information about the operator, whose output is connected with the input of a memory block (17) for securely saving information about the issued SMS ticket, whose output is connected through a block
(6) of delivery facilities, linked through the operator's communications network (4), to the user's mobile telephone (3). 16
7. The system according to Claim 6, c h a racte rized by th e f act th at a block (5) of reception means consists of means for receipt of short SMS text messages and a block (6) of delivery facilities consists of means for sending short SMS text messages.

The system according to Claim 6, c h a racte rized by th e fact th at a block (5) of reception means consists of means for receipt electronic signals from public data networks and a block (6) of delivery facilities consists of means for sending of the identification code necessary for display on the relevant remote facilities.

The system according to Claim 6 and any of Claims 7 or 8 for operating the method according to Claims 2 and 3, c h a racte rized by t h e f a c t t h a t, for the purpose of SMS ticket inspection, the electronic SMS ticketing system (1) is complemented by a SMS ticketing generating control block (18), whose input is connected to the output from the memory block (17) and whose output is connected to the block (6) of delivery facilities, where the memory block (17) is furthermore connected by two-way communication with the SMS ticket inspection system (2), partly through the online communications block (23) with the reviewer, which is connected by two-way communication to the online SMS ticket control block (19) from the side of the reviewer and partly through an offline synchronization block (21) with the reviewer's system, which is further connected by two-way communication to the offline synchronization block (20) with the electronic SMS ticketing system (1), where the output of the offline synchronization block (20) is connected to the input of the reviewer's memory block (22).
