Abstract

 充分な筐体の強度を確保しつつ、筐体のセット厚み方向の薄型化及び小型化を可能とする携帯電子機器を提供すること。  携帯電話機1は、略平板形状の第1筐体3と、第1筐体3に対してヒンジ部4を介して接続される下側筐体2とを備える。ヒンジ部4は、第1筐体3内に固定される固定部21を有し、第1筐体3は、端部が第1筐体3の厚み方向に折り曲げられた折り曲げ部34を有する板金部材33を備える。板金部材33の折り曲げ部34は、ネジ孔34aを有し、第1筐体3の厚み方向に直交する方向にネジ孔34aに挿通されるネジ28により、固定部21に対して共締めされる。
