Abstract

This blower device aims to reduce the noises generated from it, actively by itself. The blower device (1) comprises a motor unit (2), an impeller (3) mounted in the motor unit (2), a wind tunnel unit (4) covering the outer periphery of the impeller (3), a support rib (44) for connecting the base unit (43) of the motor unit (2) to the wind tunnel unit (4), and an ANC mechanism (5) for reducing the noises generated by the rotation of the impeller (3). The ANC mechanism (5) includes speakers (51) mounted inward in the side portions (421) of a duct unit (42) or in the lower portion of the wind tunnel unit (4), an ANC circuit board (52) mounted on the face of the base unit (43) on the discharge side, and a microphone (53) fixed on the ANC circuit board (52). On the basis of an input signal from the microphone (53), sounds for offsetting the noises in the duct unit (42) are generated from the speakers (51). As a result, the noises generated from the blower device (1) can be actively reduced by the blower device (1) itself.
