Abstract

La présente invention concerne une pompe à chaleur qui comprend un circuit qui comporte : un premier échangeur thermique raccordé de façon opérationnelle à un dissipateur de chaleur ou de froid; un second échangeur thermique raccordé de façon opérationnelle à une source de chaleur ou de froid; un fluide actif; des moyens de pompage; et un dispositif de dilatation raccordé entre les échangeurs thermiques. Le circuit est agencé de sorte que le fluide actif circule entre les échangeurs thermiques grâce aux moyens de pompage de sorte que le fluide actif passe successivement des moyens de pompage au premier échangeur thermique, au dispositif de dilatation, au second échangeur thermique et retourne aux moyens de pompage. Le premier échangeur thermique comprend un premier conduit pour un fluide de transfert thermique, le second échangeur thermique comprend un second conduit pour un fluide de transfert thermique. Les échangeurs thermiques fournissent des glissements de température à des écoulements respectifs du fluide de transfert thermique, la température à une extrémité du premier échangeur étant approximativement égale à la température du fluide de transfert thermique qui quitte la source de chaleur ou de froid; et la température à une extrémité du second échangeur thermique étant approximativement égale à la température du fluide de transfert thermique qui quitte le dissipateur de chaleur ou de froid et l'échange thermique de régénération ou de récupération pouvant se produire entre la substance active et le fluide d'échange thermique.
