Abstract

The invention relates to a modular body-protection vest having a front vest part (1), having a rear vest part (2), having a shoulder strap (3), which spans the front vest part (1) and the rear vest part (2) at least in certain sections, and having a shoulder-region protection element (16, 16') which can be fastened on the shoulder strap (3) and is intended for the shoulder and/or the upper arm, wherein the shoulder-region protection element (16, 16') has a fastening element (17, 17', 17') for fastening it releasably in planar form on any desired suitable section (21, 21') of a fastening region (14) extending along the shoulder strap (3).
