Abstract

バルブ全体の重量の増加を抑制した状態で放熱効率を高めるために、中空構造のシェル（１２）と、シェル（１２）の開口端を閉塞するキャップ（１４）と、シェル（１２）の中空部表面に密着された熱伝導体（１６）を備え、熱伝導体（１６）は、金属よりも軽量で且つ熱伝導率の高いカーボン繊維（２０）を、金属シート（２２）、（２４）で挟み込んで構成されている。燃焼室からの熱がキャップ（１４）に伝導すると、この熱は、キャップ（１４）および金属シート（１８）を介して、シェル（１２）と熱伝導体（１６）に伝導する。この熱の一部は、シェル（１２）の傘部（１２ｂ）から軸部（１２ａ）に伝導するが、大部分の熱は、熱伝導体（１６）の傘部（１６ｂ）から軸部（１６ａ）に伝導するとともに、熱伝導体（１６）の軸部（１６ａ）からシェル（１２）の軸部（１２ａ）に伝導し、シェル（１２）の上端から外部に放熱される。
