Abstract

An intensity value (V1(p)) occurring before a time interval (T1) from a reference timing for a positive-direction pulse and an intensity value (V2(p)) occurring after a time interval (T2) from the reference timing are obtained. In addition, an intensity value (V1(n)) occurring before a time interval (T1) from a reference timing for a negative-direction pulse and an intensity value (V2(n)) occurring after a time interval (T2) from the reference timing are obtained. If the absolute value of the intensity value difference, given by Ι V1(p) - V1(n) Ι, exceeds a threshold value (Th1) or that given by Ι V2(p) - V2(n) Ι exceeds a threshold value (Th2), it is determined that offset is occurring in the time data and the data is excluded from a processing object.
