Abstract

This invention provides an electromagnetic wave absorber which can absorb electromagnetic waves in the range of several GHz to several tens of GHz. The electromagnetic wave absorbing sheet contains a carbon nanocoil and a resin and is characterized in that (1) the carbon nanocoil has an average coil length of not less 1 μm and less than 100 μm, an average coil diameter of not less than 1 nm and less than 1μm, and an average coil pitch of not less than 1 nm and less than 1μm, and (2) the carbon nanocoil is contained in an amount of 1 to 10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the resin.
