Abstract

 舶用推進効率改善装置(20)は、船舶(10)のボッシング(15)に対してプロペラ(11)よりも船首側に位置するように放射状に配設される複数のステータフィン(P1~S2)を含む。ステータフィン(P1~S2)は、ボッシング(15)に取り付けられたときにプロペラ軸心からフィン翼端までの長さ(ds)がプロペラ(11)の半径(dp)の70%以下となるように形成されると共に、ステータフィン(P1~S2)のフィン後縁とプロペラ軸心とを含む平面とステータフィン(P1~S2)のルート部における断面上の翼弦とフィン後縁とを含む平面とのなす角度を取付角(ψ)としたときに、取付角(ψ)が20°~40°となるようボッシング(15)に配設される。
