Abstract

 画素の各々に設けられ、表示パネルの走査線及びデータ線に接続されて表示素子を駆動する第1及び第2の駆動回路と、表示パネルの各走査線を順次走査する走査ドライバと、走査ドライバによる走査に応じてデータ信号をデータ線を介して第1及び第2の駆動回路の一方に供給して当該一方の駆動回路にデータ信号を書込むデータドライバと、データドライバによるデータ書込みと同時に他方の駆動回路に書込まれたデータにより表示素子を駆動して表示パネルにデータ表示をなす表示コントローラと、を有する。
