Abstract
ディーゼル車のような低温下の運転領域においても、NOxを十分な効率で除去できるNOx浄化触媒を提供する。
このNOx浄化触媒は、排気ガスの空燃比をリーン/リッチ制御をすることにより、排気ガス中のNOxを処理するための触媒であって、鉄元素を含むβゼオライトと酸化セリウム系材料とを含む第一触媒層と、貴金属と酸化セリウム系材料と耐熱性無機酸化物とを含む第二触媒層と、を少なくとも備え、担体上に第二触媒層及び第一触媒層が順次積層されており、第一触媒層が最上層となるように構成されている。
