Abstract
レシプロエンジン、ロータリーエンジン、ジェットエンジンやガスタービンなどの熱機関等からの酸素を含む排気ガス中の粒子状物質を、高効率、かつ、低コストで、また、アンモニアや尿素を使用しない乾式により、触媒を使用しない場合であっても低温で処理を行うことができ、装置構成が小型化された排ガスの物質浄化装置を提供する。また、排ガス中のNOx及び煤や炭化水素の同時除去も可能とする。 排気通路から排ガスが導入されるキャビティ7と、マイクロ波吸収体材料4を添加した耐熱性材料で形成されキャビティ7内に収納された微粒子捕集用フィルタ2と、GHz帯域の周波数の電磁波を出力するパルス電磁放射供給源9と、パルス電磁放射供給源9からの電磁波を供給されキャビティ7内にマイクロ波を放射するマイクロ波アンテナ8とを備え、キャビティ7は、マイクロ波アンテナ8から放射されるマイクロ波を共振させ閉じこめる。
