  • the dishwasher (1) of the present invention comprises a washing chamber (2), at least one basket (3) placed inside the washing chamber (2), wherein the kitchen utensils can be emplaced, a feeder conduit (4) for delivering water received from the main supply to the intended place in the washing chamber (2), a spray arm (5) that delivers water on the objects emplaced in the basket (3) by rotating around its axis and a distributor (6) mounted to the basket (3), with one end attached to the feeder conduit (4) and the other end to the spray arm (5) for carrying the water received from the feeder conduit (4) to the spray arm (5) ( Figure 1 and Figure 2).
  • the distributor (6) comprises an intermediary element (9) for attaching the feeder conduit (4) outlet on the basket (3), an adaptor (11) mounted on the basket (3), whereon the spray arm (5) is connected, and a pipe (10) that connects the intermediary element (9) with the adaptor (11), for conveying water received from the feeder conduit (4) to the spray arm (5), produced of a resilient plastic material (B) with a hardness lower than the hardness level of the plastic material (A) of which the adaptor (11) and the intermediary element (9) are produced.
  • the adaptor (11) and the intermediary element (9), and the pipe (10) produced of a material with a hardness lower than the plastic material used for producing these two (9 and 11) are manufactured by double plastic injection method wherein plastic materials (A, B) having two different hardness levels are combined together.
  • the intermediary element (9) to which one end of the pipe (10) is connected and the adaptor (11) to which the other end is connected are produced of a hard plastic particularly thermoplastic material (A). Therefore, for the pipe (10) to bend when the basket (3) is moved, the pipe (10) is produced of, e.g. thermoplastic elastomer type material (B), having a lower hardness than the material (A) of which the intermediary element (9) and the adaptor (11) are produced.

  • the pipe (10) manufactured of a plastic material (B) having a lower hardness than the intermediary element (9) and the adaptor (11)
  • the pipe (10) delivering water to the spray arm (5) can be bent without any narrowing in the cross-section thereof.
  • the pipe (10) is produced as a single piece together with the adaptor (11) and the intermediary element (9), the surface in contact with water is a continuous surface, thereby water reaches the spray arm (5) without encountering a barrier during delivery to the spray arm (5).
  • the pipe (10) is produced in one piece by applying plastic injection method in the same mould to plastic materials (A, B) having at least two different hardness levels.
  • the portions of the pipe (10) neighboring to the intermediary element (9) and the adaptor (11) are made of plastic material (B) with a lower hardness, e.g. thermoplastic elastomer, and the portion remaining in between is made of a material (A) with a higher hardness, e.g. thermoplastic, as of the adaptor (11) and the intermediary element (9).
  • the adaptor (11) and the intermediary element (9) can move easily with respect to each other while the basket (3) moves by forming bendable regions on the pipe (10) in the portions adjacent to the intermediary element (9) and the adaptor (11) that are easily adaptable to the movement of the basket (3).
  • the basket (3) is of two-piece configuration, comprising a frame (7) and a support surface (8) that forms the base of the basket (3) for supporting the objects placed thereon, movable with respect to the frame (7).
  • the support surface (8) is mounted on the frame (7) and can move sideways or up and down.
  • the intermediary element (9) is fixed on the frame (7).
  • the adaptor (11), with the spray arm (5) attached thereon, is preferably secured beneath the support surface (8).
  • the pipe (10) connects the intermediary element (9) and the adaptor (11) made of thermoplastic material to each other being adaptable to the movement of the support surface (8) with respect to the frame (7).
  • the pipe (10) is in a straight position while the support surface (8) is approximately in the same position as the intermediary element (9) ( Figure 3).
  • the portion of the pipe (10) neighboring with the intermediary element (9) and the portion neighboring with the adaptor (11) can be bent, owing to the fact of being produced from a material (B) with a lower hardness level than the intermediary element (9) and the adaptor (11), and this region can move up or down with respect to the movement of the support surface (8) by forming a bendable region (Figure 4).
