Abstract
Disclosed is a resin composition comprising a plant-derived biomass material, a plant-derived resin, and a polyfunctional monomer which can act as an accelerator for the crosslinking of the plant-derived resin upon irradiation of the resin with an ionized radioactive ray, wherein the total mass of the plant-derived biomass material and the plant-derived resin makes up 80% or more of the total mass of all of the components. A molded article can be produced by molding the resin composition and irradiating the molded material with 30 to 250 kGy (inclusive) of an ionizing radioactive ray to crosslink the resin composition.
