Abstract

OFDMA方式に基づき移動局と通信する基地局(12)は、受信信号に対する利得を決定する受信利得決定部(42)と、受信利得決定部(42)により決定された利得に応じて、受信信号の受信レベルを制御するAGCアンプ(24)と、AGCアンプ(24)により制御された受信レベルを示すRSSIをサブチャネルごとに検出するRSSI検出部(32)と、受信信号の復調に要する受信レベルの範囲を示す復調可能レンジをサブチャネルごとに取得するとともに、RSSI検出部(32)により検出された各RSSIが復調可能レンジ内にあるか否かを判定するRSSI判定部(40)と、を含む。受信利得決定部(42)は、RSSI検出部(32)により検出されたRSSIのうち最大のRSSIと、その最大のRSSIが検出されたサブチャネルの復調可能レンジとに基づいて、利得を決定する。
