　交流を整流及び平滑化する整流回路４及び平滑回路５と、整流及び平滑化された直流にて圧縮機８のモータ８１を駆動するモータ駆動回路７と、整流回路４の入力側に直列接続されたリアクトル３１と、リアクトル３１及び整流回路４間に接続されており、リアクトル３１を短絡させるＩＧＢＴとを備えたモータ駆動装置に、複数の第１乃至第３ＩＧＢＴ３４ａ，３４ｂ，３４ｃと、第１乃至第３ＩＧＢＴ３４ａ，３４ｂ，３４ｃを選択的に入切する制御回路９を備える。
