Abstract

 本発明のリチウム二次電池用負極は、集電体12と、集電体12の上に形成された活物質層14とを備え、活物質層14は、集電体12の上に配置された複数の負極活物質体16を有しており、各負極活物質体16は、相対的に酸素濃度の高い第1の領域18と、第1の領域18よりも酸素濃度の低い複数の第2の領域20とを有する酸化物であって、第1の領域18は、各負極活物質体16の底面から、前記集電体の表面から離れる方向へ延びており、複数の第2の領域20は、第1の領域18を挟んで両側に交互に配置されている。
