Abstract

 エンジン、発電機、変換器、および電動機が直列に配置された電気駆動システム、ならびに、前記電気駆動システムに蓄電器を併用したシリーズ型ハイブリット駆動システムにおいて、変換器の故障時における駆動力の確保に加えて、故障時以外の使用に対してエンジンの燃費と排出ガスを良好にでき、かつ、その巡航速度に合わせた移動体を生産する場合の発電機と電動機のラインナップ数を少なくすることを目的とする。このために、移動体の巡航速度を判定する機能を設け、発電機の極数および電動機の極数をそれぞれ切り換え可能な構成とした。移動体が巡航速度で運転していると判定されると、発電機と電動機とをバイパス部を介して直結し、巡航速度に応じて、発電機の極数および電動機の極数を切り換えて運転する。
