 良好な加工性を有したうえで、伝送損失を低減できることのできるポリマー光導波路形成用材料、ポリマー光導波路、及びポリマー光導波路の製造方法を提供する。ヒドロキシ基を含むノルボルネン系構造単位を有する重合体と、化学線の照射により酸を発生させる光酸発生剤と、前記光酸発生剤によって発生した酸により重合するモノマー成分と、を含む。
