Abstract
When a drive force having a fixed rotational direction is outputted to the load side from the input side, the drive force can be outputted while switching forward rotation and reverse rotation appropriately. The forward/reverse drive force switching device comprises an input gear (2), an output gear (8) and a switching mechanism (41) wherein the switching mechanism (41) consists of a planetary gear mechanism (42), a control mechanism (43) and a clutch mechanism (44), the a planetary gear mechanism (42) consists of a sun gear (3) integrated with a rotation transmitting shaft (3a), an annulus gear (5) integrated with the output gear (8), and a planetary gear (4) and a carrier (12) interposed between the sun gear (3)and the annulus gear (5), the control mechanism (43) consists of a control gear (7) which can take a restricted state or a nonrestricted state selectively by an actuator (34), and the clutch mechanism (44) consists of a unidirectional roller clutch (11) interposed between the rotation transmitting shaft (3a) and a clutch attaching portion (45) provided in the carrier (12). When the actuator (34) is turned off, the roller clutch (11) is locked and the planetary gear (4) performs only revolution and an input of forward rotation (A) is outputted, as it is. When the actuator (34) is turned on, the roller clutch (11) is unlocked and the planetary gear (4) performs only rotation and an input of forward rotation (A) is outputted while being switched to reverse rotational direction (B).
