Description
A WIRE STRUCTURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE ZIPPER TEETH
Technical Field
The invention relates to coating the external surfaces of the fabric-mounted teeth of the zippers produced in the form of a chain,
Said invention relates to a wire structure wherein all the teeth are coated/dyed by means of a coating technique with a current penetrating all the teeth of the zipper and wherein said structure is associated with the zipper in order to provide said coating.
Background of the Invention
As is known, zippers are the practical binding elements used frequently in the textile sector to bind the open areas. The zippers usually have a structure comprising the teeth made of brass, nickel and similar metal material. In addition to the metal, they are also manufactured from the plastic and other similar materials.
According to the state of the art, in order to color, i.e. to coat, the surfaces of the fabric-mounted teeth of the zippers produced in the form of a chain, the surface coating was employed by wrapping the product into hanks or by passing the same through a machine that was dipped and raised, using the chemicals with no current.
Despite having metal teeth, the zippers are not able to provide conductivity to one another. As a result, it is not possible to implement the coating process with current. Since the present coating is made without a current and it fails to provide a certain thickness in microns, there exists no guarantee regarding the durability and the resistance against the washes. Color deterioration occurs following a short time of use and in the worst case, the coating colors lead to traces or contamination in the fabrics.
Description of the Invention
The object of the invention is to enable coating or dyeing all the teeth of the zipper using the coating method with current, by means of a conductive wire associated with the zipper, contrary to the drawbacks mentioned above.
Another object of the invention is to enable the coating process with current owing to the conductive wire being associated with the zipper, and thus to enable the chemicals with current to perfectly penetrate into the zipper teeth,
Another object of the invention is to provide that the coating is strong and is prevented from leaving a trace on the fabric, in case the zipper is fixed to any textile, leather, shoe and similar product and is washed thereafter.
Another object of the invention is to enable a long service life owing to coating the zipper teeth by means of the current technique.
Another object of the invention is to ensure that the zipper does not loose its visual features and thus an unpleasant appearance is prevented from forming, owing to coating the zipper teeth by means of the current technique.
In order to achieve the aforesaid objects, there is provided at least one conductive wire associated with the zipper teeth to enable the electric current to pass over the zipper teeth, in order to carry out the desired coating process by providing current to the zipper teeth.
In order to achieve the aforesaid objects, there is provided the placement edge formed on the piping where said conductive wire is positioned.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention relates to the zippers comprising the piping (1) and the zipper teeth (2) located on the corresponding parallel edges of said piping (1) wherein there is provided at least one conductive wire (3) associated with the zipper teeth (2) to enable the electric current to pass over the zipper teeth (2), in order to carry out the desired coating process by providing current to said zipper teeth (2). There is also provided a placement edge (1.1) formed on the piping (1) where said conductive wire (3) is positioned. -
After the conductive wire (3) is secured to the placement edge (1.1) of the pipings (1) by means of the stitching and/or preferably adhering technique during the weaving, the connection is provided between the zipper teeth (2) and the wire (3). Here, the care is taken to position the wire (3) so that it will correspond to the pitch of each tooth (2), since this is necessary to provide a well conductivity and connection.
After the piping (1) and the conductive wire (3) are placed during the weaving process, the woven ribbon with conductive piping is dyed and is subjected to size finishing and ironing steps, after which the external assembly process is carried out. After the emery and polisage processes are completed, the process of wrapping into hank or hanger is carried out. Then the coating process is completed by applying the successive steps of oil intake, rinsing, acid wash, copper plating and nickel, tin, etc. bath, if the color is desired to be provided, to the suspension coating bath with current, with the condition that all will receive the current.
