Abstract

Disclosed is a resin composition for insulation, which contains a polyolefin as a base polymer, while having (a) an ash content of not more than 20% by mass, (b)a relative dielectric constant of not more than 2.8, and (c) a type A durometer hardness of not more than 90. Also disclosed is a wire/cable comprising a high tension insulator (4) which is composed of the resin composition for insulation.
