Abstract
A nucleic acid amplification system comprising a heat source by which a nucleic acid amplification container is heated, a housing which has an aperture, a shutter for opening and closing the aperture, and a centrifuge on which the nucleic acid amplification container is loaded and centrifuged, wherein the heat source is located in the housing, the nucleic acid amplification container is rotated by the centrifuge around a line passing through the aperture face of the aperture as the rotational axis, and the position of the centrifuge is fixed by the shutter in the case of closing the aperture. Further, the system has the heat source for heating the nucleic acid amplification container and a heat block for stimulating the nucleic acid amplification container to thereby dissociate a double-stranded nucleic acid. The heat source continuously heats the nucleic acid amplification container, while the heat block intermittently stimulates it while the heat source conducts the heating. Thus, a nucleic acid amplification system, whereby a nucleic acid amplification reaction can be conveniently carried out within a short time, is provided.
