Abstract

A fuel cell mixture containing a liquid fuel; a fuel cell cartridge containing the mixture; and a fuel cell having the cartridge detachably fitted thereto. In recent years, for portable information devices, the downsizing, weight reduction, high-function imparting, etc. are being intensively promoted. In accordance with the progress of such portable information devices, researches on the fuel cell as a micromini power generating unit providing a power source therefor are being actively promoted. For the fuel cell, in order to attain mobility enhancement, there is a demand on fuel concentration increase and achieving of directionality freedom. It has been difficult to meet the demand. It is intended to meet the demand by providing, for example, a fuel cell mixture comprising liquid portion (2) containing a volatile liquid fuel and a polymeric substance soluble in the liquid fuel and, dispersed in the liquid portion, microparticles (3).
