Abstract

 管状器官の閉塞又は縮径した部分の奥方まで確実に留置して拡張力を発揮させ、柔軟性も維持できるステントを提供する。  このステント1は、ジグザグ状に折り返しながら周方向に伸びて環状に連結された線状部分11で構成される複数の環状ユニット10、20と、これらの環状ユニットの隣接するものどうしを軸方向に連結する連結部40とを有している。そして、所定の環状ユニット20は、周方向の所定位置にある前記線状部分11の折り返し部13から次の折り返し部13に至る途中に固着されたX線不透過性のマーカー30を有している。
