Abstract

 車両の発進時や走行時に左右の駆動輪に差動制限トルクを付与するとき車両の偏向の発生を好適に抑制することが可能な車両用差動制限装置を提供する。  車両の状態量に基づいて差動制限トルクΔTを算出する差動制限トルク算出手段60と、予め設定された偏向許容ヨーレイトと車両の実ヨーレイトとに基づいて差動制限トルク上限ガード値ΔTを算出する差動制限トルク上限ガード値算出手段62と、左右の駆動輪に付与される差動制限トルクΔTを得るために、差動制限トルク上限ガード値算出手段62により算出された差動制限トルク上限ガード値ΔTL を用いて差動制限トルク算出手段62により算出された差動制限トルクΔTを制限する上限ガード処理手段72とを、含むことから、差動状態に応じた最適な差動制限トルク上限ガード値ΔTL が得られるので、路面状況に応じた差動制限トルクΔTが付与され、車両の偏向が好適に抑制される。
