Abstract

　撮像システムは、撮像機器としてのデジタルカメラ（１０）と、該デジタルカメラ（１０）のカメラ本体（１２）とは別体に構成され、上記カメラ本体（１２）を制御するための指令を上記カメラ本体（１２）に対して送信することにより上記カメラ本体（１２）が上記指令に対応した動作を行えるように構成された指令機器としての光学式リモコン（１４）と、を含む。上記カメラ本体（１２）は、上記光学式リモコン（１４）から送信された当該カメラ本体（１２）が上記光学式リモコン（１４）の認証を行うための認証情報を含む認証指令を受信するための受光素子（３２）と、上記光学式リモコン（１４）から送信された上記認証情報を含まない一般指令を受信するための受光素子（１８）とを有し、上記受光素子（３２）で受信された認証指令を認識して、その認証指令に基づいて当該カメラ本体（１２）の機能の制限を行う。
