Abstract
The invention relates to an integrated system (100) for chemically analysing samples and detecting and storing the results of the analyses, comprising: (a) a data storage disk recorder (102) for recording on a recording side (107) of a storage disk (106); and (b) an excitation source (108) for irradiating the assay side (105) of a disk in the recording position. The invention is characterised in that the system includes a camera (104, 408, 514) and, when a disk is in the recording position (107) and a mixture (405) of the sample and a fluorescence-varying substance is provided on the assay side (105, 208), the camera is used to control the appearance of fluorescence signals (110, 510) and to capture said signals in order to convert same into digital signals (518).
