Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for successive and serial foaming of sandwich panels with poiyurethane. The successive and serial injection of polyurethapie portions and the following foaming enables the poiyurethane to foam (expand) up to 180 degrees. In this way, the compressive stress on the inner side of the cover plates is minimized. At the same time, a fixation of the plate units (cover plates) of the sandwich panels via so-called 'foam bridges' is provided- The combination of the relatively low compressive stress on the inner side of the cover plates and the formation of 'foam-bridges' eliminates or reduces the need for using strong jigs or the similar devices for fixation of the cover plates of the sandwich panels during the polyurethapie injection itself.
