Un dispositif (1) concu pour capter l'energie d'un courant de fluide (F) et comprenant au moins un rotor (2) dont I'axe de rotation (ZZ') est destine a etre dispose transversalement par rapport a Ia direction dudit courant de fluide, ledit rotor (2) etant pourvu d'au moins une aube (3) presentant un intrados s'etendant sensiblement parallelement audit axe de rotation (ZZ')/ ledit dispositif telque Ie trace materialisant 1' intersection dudit intrados avec un plan (P) normal a. I'axe de rotation (ZZ') comporte au moins un premier troncon (6) tangent a un premier cercle generateur lui-meme sensiblement centre sur I'axe de rotation (ZZ'), ainsi gu'un second troncon (7) sensiblement tangent a. un second cercle generateur, lui-meme sensiblement concentrique au premier cercle generateur et de diametre superieur au diametre de ce dernier.
