Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Flüssigelektrolytbatterie, die bodenseitig mittels einer Heizplatte erwärmbar ist, wenn die Batterie unterkühlt ist. Die Batterie, weist ein Gehäuse (1) mit einem Gehäuseboden (1e) auf, Elektroden (2), die in dem Gehäuse (1) senkrecht angeordnet sind und einen Flüssigelektrolyt (3), wobei zwischen dem Gehäuseboden (1e) und der Unterkante der (Elektroden 2) eine plattenförmige Konvektionsbeschleunigungsanordnung (4) mit einem hochgezogenem Rand (4a) angeordnet ist, wobei die Randhöhe wenigstens 1/4 der Höhe der Elektroden (2) beträgt.
