Definitions

  • This patent is an Utility Model which refers to a device comprising a sma.'i nasa! mask which canalizes the gases one whishes to inhale through the nose, fitted to the face by means of an elastic band or any other pressure system in order to keep it hermetically adjusted, preventing the leakage of gases, while it can form a part of the tube support and keep it fixed to its position on the nose.
  • the correct breathing shall be performed through the nose instead of the mouth, with the advantage to heat the air breathed while it travels a longer distance inside the anatomical structure of the nasal cavities, increasing its temperature when the atmosphere is cold, enabling it to be heated when reaching the bronchial sector, that, as known, on the opposite, may cause respiratory problems. It shall be understood that through the mouth, the gases reach the bronchial lungs directly.
  • This device eliminates the uncomfortable and unpractical mask that covers the face, with the benefit of releasing the operation of the buccal system to talk, eat, or to develop any of its other functions interrupted by the presence of the mask, used to conduct the gases to the lungs, as it occurs in the events of nebuiizat ⁇ ons, inhalations for respiratory problems treatment, anti-gas masks, masks intended to the conduction of air filtered from impurities or health harmful elements, to prevent contamination, if the atmosphere is affected with bacteria and other microorganisms. Finally, a number of uses where the control of the quality and conditions of gases directed to the lungs are required. It can also be used for diving, while keeping the oxygen tube fed directly from the atmosphere or from another source, such as to be carried in a bottle by a diver.
  • the small nasal mask (1 of Figure 2) can be fitted to the face by means of an elastic band 1 or any other pressure system in order to keep it hermetically adjusted, preventing the leakage of gases, and can form a part of the tube support and keep it fixed to its position.
  • the support may also be independently placed.
  • the exhale may be performed through the mouth.
  • the nasal mask may also be indistinctly operated through the mouth. The non sophistication of this solution allows its costs to be excessively lower than the other systems and it results to be more comfortable and light to be used.
  • Figure 1 show the source supplying oxygen for inhalation, with the container demonstrated under number 1 and the valve demonstrated under number 2, .
  • the tube can be adjusted directly to the nasal cavities, which shall have a format adjustable to the nasal orifices and do not allow the evasion of gases.
