Abstract
Le dispositif de moulage (12) et le procédé selon l’invention permettent la production cyclique d’objets à parois très fines comme des disques compacts de données. Une coulée thermoplastique est introduite dans un moule (10) à une température supérieure à sa température de solidification. La température du moule est contrôlée, mais le moule comporte des surfaces (10A) faisant face à la cavité qui sont préchauffées et peuvent être isolées. Les surfaces sont préchauffées au moyen d’un chauffage (18) à rayonnement, jusqu’à une température de surface supérieure à la température de ramollissement de la coulée. Ce chauffage de surface est superficiel en raison de l’application par rayonnement de l’énergie thermique mais s’étend assez longtemps pour que la température de la coulée soit suffisamment élevée pour que la coulée puisse circuler le long des surfaces de la cavité. Un robot de (20) positionnement est utilisé pour mettre en place le chauffage (18) à rayonnement au point approprié dans le cycle de moulage.
