Abstract
A mobile power supply unit comprises two or more solar panels with a hinge separating a first and a second panel and allowing said first panel to be folded onto said second panel. Alternatively, a mobile power supply unit comprises a trailer with a chassis; the trailer being adapted for towing; a solar and/or wind energy to electricity converter attached to said trailer and connected to one or more batteries for storing electricity; characterised in that the trailer is formed of two separable parts which may be separated when releasable attachment means are released; a first part being formed of said solar and/or wind energy to electricity converter and said one or more batteries; and a second part incorporating said chassis.
