Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Messen eines Füllstands eines Füllguts (4), wobei die Vorrichtung eine Empfangseinheit (5) umfasst, die Auftriebseigenschaften zum Schwimmen auf einer Oberfläche des Füllguts aufweist. Die Empfangseinheit (5) misst mittels einer Abstandsmessung auf Basis eines von zumindest einer ersten Sendeeinheit (14, 7) ausgesendeten und von der Empfangseinheit (5) empfangenen ersten Signals den Abstand zwischen Sende- und Empfangseinheit, woraus der Füllstand bestimmt werden kann.
