Abstract

The keyless loek for quick and simple door locking includes the standard lock (8) on which the linking square lever with a cut in groove (2) is fitted, The next step is to fit the external protective shield with previously installed fixing mechanism (6) on it, and in the end the door knob (1) is fitted, The bordering unit (3), (4), and (5) then gets screwed into the door knob. In order to lock the door, it is necessary to push number (1), that is the door knob, towards the door. After that has been done the bordering unit (3), (4), and (5) will keep the door knob in a given position, and the top of the door knob, that is the square piece, will fit the fixing mechanism (6) into the door knob, which will result in the locking of the door.

1) THE AREA OF TECHNOLOGY TO WHICH THIS INVENTION IS

APPLYING TO

This invention is used for quick and simple door locking without a key but only if the person is inside the room that we want to lock up ( balcony door, entrance door, water closet door, bedroom door, etc.)

2) TECHNICAL PROBLEM

Frequently, there is a need for temporary locking up of the rooms and premises which a person is purrently occupying during the time their being in the house. Keeping the key in a lock is often unreliable and can create a problem- if there are children in the house, for example. The problem of a child alone entering the room without knowing how to unlock it, this invention also easily solves.

3) STATE OF TECHNOLOGY

Until now, there have been many solutions to locking the doors; however, none (as far as I am aware) has solved the problem of unlocking them from the other side- without a door key or without damaging the lock itself. To clarify the matter, this system can be simultaneously used for the entrance door of an apartment or a house with slight changes, which I have also tested, in order to make the system of locking the door with a door knob more safe and efficient and at the same time very simple for usage.

4) PRESENTATION OF THE ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

The primary goal of the invention is to improve the safety of locking the inside doors of an apartment or house during the time a person is staying behind the locked door of the room.

The secondary goal is to make the lock for closing doors, which is on the inside doors of an apartment or house without the mechanism for locking with a key since locking is done only by door knobs, cheaper.

The additional goals and advantages of the invention will partially be shown in the description that follows and will partially be acknowledged by its use.

The keyless lock for quick locking of the door is composed of an additional device to the lock that is to be installed to already existing locks on doors. The complete insert of the previous lock remains the same; however, it can be replaced with a new lock insert or the new lock insert can be bought and put in the place of the old one: door knobs with a linking square lever and a fixing mechanism that is to be fitted in the external protective shield.

AU the door knobs and handles that are already in use are also usable with this invention with a remark that the width of the lining of the handle at the place of the sagging of the linking lever must be at least 9mm so that a M8 thread for twisting the locking mechanism could be cut in a knob or handle. Normally, during the first installation, a new lock insert without the locking mechanism with a key can be applied, which will significantly lower the price of the lock as well as the total price of the door. The same additional elements of the invention are also to be installed on a such lock, too.

5) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNICAL DRAWING

All the elements of one complete keyless lock for locking are shown in the drawing. I have also published an alternative to the lock insert without the locking mechanism with a key. I have not explained the details of the lock insert because the invention is being installed to all known lock inserts, The additional elements as the part of the invention are as follows:

1. a door knob or handle ( a new hole with the thread and projecting square piece at the beginning of the knob )

2. linking square lever with cut in groove for performing the function of locking

3. the hollow screw containing a spring and a small ball (bordering unit)

9. external protective shield ( 2 holes are made only on standard ones)

10. safety ring ( which is to be placed on outside balcony door because the rings make the opening from the outside impossible )

6) DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION

All the additional elements are very quickly and simply finable to the previously existing lock. In order for the invention to function, it is simply enough to move the inside knob (we are thinking of the room or space that is to be locked )

3-5mm towards the door by which the fixing mechanism locks the knob as well as the turning of the outer knob via the linking lever.

If necessary, the lock can be unblocked from the outside without damaging any of the positions (in case that intervention is needed if a child or anybody else gets locked in).

No.l with the linking lever No.2 for 3-5mm and then push the linking lever towards the inside door knob which makes the inside door knob to unlock from the fixing mechanism by which the unlocking is made possible without damaging any of the parts. 7) THE APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

The invention provides quick, safe, and simple door locking without a key or with an addition a secondary security lock (entrance door, for example). The principle is quite simple: it is sufficient to move the inside door knob or handle 3-5mm towards the door "locked" and 3 -5 mm towards yourself "unlocked."

Remark: Installing safely rings on entrance or balcony door is recommended in order to prevent unlocking from the outside (burglary).

1 . The lock for quick and simple locking of the door without a key consists of: the standard lock insert on which five new positions are installed. "INDICATED BY THAT" the linking lever that has been modified in regard to a standard one. the door knob that has also been modified, the bordering unit, the fixing mechanism, and the safety rings ( safety rings are only for entrance and balcony doors ).

2. The lock in accordance with the requirement 1 "INDICATED BY THAT" that linking lever has a cut in groove for performing the function of the bordering unit on itself,

3. The lock in accordance with the requirement 2 "INDICATED BY THAT" that the modified door knob on itself has a cut in thread for the bordering unit and the projecting square piece at the top, which is used during turning of the knob when locking up.

4. The lock in accordance with the requirement 3 "INDICATED BY THAT" is composed of the bordering unit, the spring, and the small ball, which altogether make a system that has a purpose of keeping the door knob in a desired position.

5. The lock in accordance with the requirement 4 "INDICATED BY THAT" is the fixing mechanism that is a situated unit on the external protective shield and which, at the spot where the linking lever goes, has an impressed shape of the square piece.

6. The lock in accordance with the requirement 5 "INDICATED BY THAT" are the safety rings ( to be installed only on entrance and balcony doors ) whose installation on the linking lever makes the unlocking of the door knob impossible, that is makes the unlocking of the door from the other side impossible.
