Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'apprendre à un individu l'exécution du swing avec un club de golf de manière efficace, qui consiste à établir une ligne de pivotement ou un plan imaginaire utilisé par le golfeur pendant les phases de préparation et de swing. Une ligne de mains est établie et perçue lorsque l'individu a le club en mains. La perception d'une ligne de nez est créée par la ligne verticale naturelle existant entre les yeux du golfeur. La perception d'une ligne de pieds est également établie pour aider le golfeur à transférer son poids au moment opportun. Le procédé met l'accent sur la façon dont ces lignes de référence doivent s'aligner par rapport à la balle pendant la préparation et l'impact, et consiste tout d'abord à visualiser la ligne de pivotement qui s'étend sous la balle et de manière perpendiculaire à la ligne d'envol recherchée. La ligne de pivotement permet d'obtenir un outil de référence simple pour l'alignement de la face du club, des mains, des pieds, de la taille, et de la tête ; et un plan naturel autour duquel le corps du golfeur doit tourner et pivoter. Avant le swing, la ligne de mains du golfeur est alignée le long de la ligne de pivotement et la ligne de nez est située derrière la ligne de pivotement. Pendant le swing, le golfeur doit penser à remettre sa main le long de la ligne de pivotement au moment de l'impact, puis à se déplacer par rapport à la ligne de nez ou la ligne de pieds après que la ligne de mains passe la ligne de pivotement. Des accessoires de pratique de type guide de référence rapide comprenant des techniques d'imagerie mentale pour le golf sont utilisés pour faciliter l'apprentissage et mettre en oeuvre ledit procédé.
