Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a safety driving device for road, and more specifically to a safety driving device for road configured to measure the speed of traveling cars on the road, and then present the driving condition of the cars on a display device so that a driver can directly view images on it, wherein the safety driving device for road can contribute to safe driving by displaying the driving condition the cars so that drivers can view images on it. [2] Generally, warning for safety in the road and so on is mainly divided into tow groups: one way in which drivers voluntarily participate, and the other way com- pulsorily regulated by the traffic police. In the case of the voluntary participation, the speed limit is presented on a traffic sign showing the running speed depending on the traffic condition of that area, and therefore drivers themselves voluntarily observes the car speed limit on such a traffic sign to prevent traffic accidents caused by speeding.
[3] In the case of the compulsory regulation by the traffic police, if the car was driven at a running speed greater than the running speed limit on the traffic sign, then the traffic police was also instructed to measure speed of the traveling car using a speed measurement device, stop the car, and then inform the driver what fast he drove the car.
[4] In addition, yellow flashing lights lit as the rhythmic light were installed in the presumed speeding areas or the presumed areas of the accidents upon high speed driving in order to awaken the driver to safety.

[8] The present invention is designed to solve such drawbacks of the prior art, and therefore an object of the present invention is to provide a safety driving device for road capable of preventing overspeed, etc. to minimize traffic obstruction and generation of the accidents by means of voluntary participation of drivers, informing the driver of his driving condition to prevent the accidents from occurring, operating an alarm device under a predetermined condition to minimize power consumption, and minimizing working loads of the traffic police, as well as thereby the accidents, and multiplying its efficiency by operating it regardless day or night. [9] In order to solve the problems, the present invention provides a safety driving device for road, including a speed measurement device connected with a frame fixed in a predetermined position of a road to sense a driving condition of traveling cars on the road, and capable of taking day or night photographs; a controller connected to the speed measurement device to input driving speeds of the cars, and to which a memory unit for storing various data according to road conditions and a data input unit for inputting the various data into the memory unit are connected; an output unit operated by the controller, and consisting of a flashing light and an electric message sign; and a power supply unit installed to supply a power source to the controller, the output unit and the speed measurement device by means of the solar cell power source installed in the frame.
[10] And, the present invention provides a safety driving device for road, wherein the controller is installed to supply the power source to the output unit so that it can be operated every when a running speed of the car exceeds the speed limit, the running speed sensed by the speed measurement device that is operated by a car detection sensor installed in a predetermined block of the road, wherein the data input unit is installed to store the data signals input by a keyboard into the controller in the wire and wireless communication manners, and wherein the controller is installed to selectively operate either the flashing light or the electric message sign of the output unit according to the driving condition of the car.
Advantageous Effects
[11] According to the present invention, the safety driving device for road may be useful to prevent overspeed by means of voluntary participation of drivers to inhibit traffic obstruction and generation of the accidents due to a sudden deceleration or a lane change, etc. by deceleration and stop signs, inform the driver of his driving condition to prevent the accidents from occurring, minimize power consumption by operating an alarm device only when the driver breaks the specified speed, and minimize working
loads of the traffic police by controlling the car speed by means of voluntary participation of the drivers, as well as thereby the accidents, and multiply its efficiency by operating it regardless day or night.

[18] As shown in FIGs. 1 to 4, the present invention includes a speed measurement device 150, a controller 100, a power supply unit 130, a memory unit 190, a data input unit 110 and an output unit 170.
[19] The speed measurement device 150 is connected with a frame 400 fixed in a predetermined position of a road to sense a driving condition of traveling cars C on the road R, and a laser measurement system is generally used herein.
[20] The controller 100 is connected to the speed measurement device 150 to control its operation, and simultaneously installed to operate the output unit 170 formed of an alarming unit.
[21] The controller 100 is installed to operate the output unit 170 when the driving speed of the car sensed by a speed measurement device upon inputting the speed limit exceeds the speed limit.
[22] And, a memory unit 190 for storing various data varied according to road conditions such as a speed limit, etc. and a data input unit 110 for inputting the various data varied according to road conditions into the memory unit 190 are connected to the
controller 100.
[23] In addition, the data input unit 110 is installed to store data signals generated by a keyboard into the controller 100 in the wire and wireless communication manners.
[24] Also, the controller 100 is installed to selectively operate either the flashing light or the electric message sign of the output unit according to the driving condition of the car.
[25] The output unit 170 includes a yellow and red flashing light 175 operated by the controller 100; and an electric message sign 171 provided with a plurality of LED lamps to display the letter and number.
[26] The power supply unit 130 is provided to receive a normal power source through the cable, or to receive the power source from a solar cell power source connected to the frame 400 as a metallic fixation band 420.
[27] An operation principle of the present invention having the aforementioned arrangement will be described, as follows.
[28] As shown in FIGs. 1 to 4, the speed measurement device 150 is installed so that it can be maintained at a constant angle in the frame 400 formed to maintain a predetermined height on the load, thereby to sense the speed of the traveling cars C on the road R (Step Sl).
[29] At this time, the speed measurement device 150 has a flash integrally mounted to be able to take night photographs, and an infrared thermograph installed together to measure speed of the cars, as well as sense the cars regardless day or night.
[30] The speed of the traveling car is calculated in the manner using the laser as described above, that is, by firing laser beams at two points, followed by measuring a distance and a time difference between the two points.
[31] Also, it is desirable to use general fixation methods, and the fixation methods is a loop-type manner in which sensors is laid underground in the two points of the road, wherein the sensors sense the speed of the cars, and simultaneously recognize the traveling cars with a photographing device.

150 and its speed are converted into digital signals and transferred to the controller 100 while passing a transducer consisting of A/D converters (S2); the output signals corresponding to the digitalized speed of the car is generated in the controller 100 if the digitalized speed exceeds the speed limit (S3); and alarming signals are forwarded or a driving condition, etc. of the car is presented as the letter and number by means of the output unit 170 connected to the controller 100 owing to the output signals (S4).
[33] At this time, the signals transferred to the output unit 170 are converted and transferred to display various alarming signals and paragraphs by controlling the operation of a plurality of LED lamps consisting of a flashing light 175 and an electric
message sign 171 of the output unit in the controller 100.
[34] According to the above arrangement, a driver may safely drive the car since the driver can confirm a driving condition of the car without seeing the dashboard by displaying images by means of the electric message sign 171 and the flashing light 175 positioned at an inclined angle so that the driver can recognize the driving condition of the car.
[35] And, the controller 100 can easily change and input the speed limit varied according to the conditions of the road using the data input unit 110 connected to one side thereof, and be installed to input the speed limit from the control center or the very spot in the wire and wireless communication manners, and the input unit includes a keyboard and a screen and also be modified and further input, and then the input data is stored into the memory unit 190.
[36] Also, the output unit 170 connected to the controller 100 may minimize energy consumption since it is operated only if necessary. And, the speed measurement device 150 may also reduce energy consumption if it is installed to be operated by a car detection sensor (Not shown) installed in a predetermined block of the road R.
[37] In addition, internal and outer power sources are used as the power sources of the controller 100, the speed measurement device 150 and the output unit 170, in combination thereof. Normal power sources connected through the cable may be used as the outer power source, and power sources using a wind force generated upon driving the car, or a power supply unit 130 using a solar cell power source fixed to the frame 400, etc. may be used as the internal power source.
[38] As described above, the safety driving device for road of the present invention can prevent the accidents from occurring due to overspeed by securely informing the drivers of the driving condition of the car to drive the car at the advisory speed matching the condition of the road.
