Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Kühlen von langen Gegenständen (2) wie Drähte, Rohre oder Stäbe. Zum verbesserten Kühlen sind ein Düsenbereich (4), dessen Durchmesser grösser ist als der Durchmesser des Gegenstands (2), der eine Vielzahl von Düsen (8) enthält, die ein Kühlgas auf den Gegenstand (2) blasen, und ein Hüllrohr (6) vorgesehen, dessen Durchmesser gleich oder kleiner als der Durchmesser des Düsenbereichs (4) ist.
