Description

Portable Letter Interpretation Language Dictionary
[Technical Field]
The present invention relates to a portable letter interpretation language dictionary. More particularly the present invention relates to a portable letter interpretation language dictionary that travelers or tourists(refers to as tourists or travelers in below) may have a talk freely with natives as foreigners using the field language(unknown language), without direct conversation orally each other by means of letters recorded in the portable letter interpretation language dictionary comprising traveler's understanding language and the field language of traveling region as their unknown language, provided that tourists should carry said portable letter interpretation language dictionary when they travel.
[Background Art] At global age that international exchange is frequent, command of multinational language needs acutely. However it is impossible nearly to understand or have a good command of innumerable language of the world and most can understand no more than a few foreign languages.
Accordingly there are many problems and difficults in international commercial transaction or tourism realistically.
In addition to, although a language using in a certain country or region is English being spoken all over the world, since its pronunciations, intonations or gestures differ respectively according to regions or human races using it, it is very difficult to understand or hear entirely the language. Therefore, interlocutors do not understand correctly each other or come to an understanding incorrectly in many cases. Particularly although English as world language is used among the interlocutors as tourists and natives, if their language is not expressed correctly they also do not come to an understanding each other. In order to dissolve the above-mentioned inconvenience and defects interpreters may be employed but in this case employing fee is expensive and individual privacy may be infringed and also in case that the interpreter may not speak fluently all languages of tourists and natives, they also may not come to an understanding each other. Also, in order to dissolve defects in communication of intention between the interlocutors, portable electronic interpreters have been developed lately.
Since these machines comprise an earphone, a speaker or earphone as a microphone, and double direction of a digital interpreter, if a language of a certain country is transmitted, in a voice, to the interpreter through the microphone, the voice is converted into a digital signal showing letters, the letters are converted into letters of the other party language, then the letters are converted into a voice signal of the other country and the voice is transmitted to the other party through the speaker or the earphone, and on the contrary language of the other party also is converted into a voice through the mike and the digital interpreter by contrary procedure and then the voice is transmitted to the speaker or the earphone.
Said portable electronic interpreter can be used conveniently and usefully. However this machine cannot borrow easily and universally and due to high cost an individual cannot buy easily it. Accordingly said electronic interpreter is not popularized up to now. Furthermore, interpretation may be served by means of information and communication devices such as an internet, mobile communication or PDA.
Although they are used also there are inconvenience and defects that an expensive rental fee should be paid and a computer should be used.
In order to dissolve said inconvenience and defects in interpretation "a portable interpretation book" had been developed and filed by an applicant as an inventor of the present invention and had been registered as Korean registration No.10-0447028 on August 25, 2004.
Leaves of a book in said registered portable interpretation book, as shown in figure 9, comprises a basis card bundle 10 conisting of cards 17 as leaves of the book having respectively a column recorded question letters(refer to as question letters column) 11 and a column recorded answer letters(refer to as answer letters column) 13 in front and rear of said each card 17 as leaves of the book, and a supplement card bundle 20 consisting of cards 17' having supplement letters column 15 in front and rear of said each card as a leaf 17', wherein in front and rear of said each card, letters of different languages having identical meanings, that is to say, those of understanding language in the front and those of field(foreign) language in the rear, are recorded.
When said portable interpretation book are used, if in cards 17, 17' recorded letters of different language having identical meanings letters needed for questions and answers are indicated the other party each other, the other party can recognize intentions for questions or answers each other.
However because in said interpretation book an abundant vocabularies is not recorded, correct and sufficient intentions cannot be communicated. For instance when in the question letters column 11 "what article are you concerned about" is recorded and in the answer letter column 13,
Figure imgf000004_0001
bags ©accessaries only are recorded, if a purchaser wishes to buy spectacles since they are not recorded in said answer letter column 13 he cannot purchase the article. Accordingly said interpretation book is useless.
[Disclosure of Invention]
The present invention is to provide an interpretation language dictionary by characters(letters) that anyone can communicate their intentions by means of letters of their understanding language if they have common sense capable of looking up words in the general dictionary, wherein all of words, or sentences including phrases of languages that they can have a good command of(refers to as understanding language) are disposed according to order as an alphabet of English or similar order corresponding to it, or each of words and sentences including phrases are disposed separately on each sheaf of leaves of a book(refer to as book leaves) in the dictionary, provided that aside said understanding languages a field languages(unknown language) are disposed to show reversely.
In order that interlocutors, that is, tourists and the natives come to an understanding each other by using said interpretation dictionary of the present invention if the tourists indicate letters of language that they wish to inquire the natives the other party as natives can recognize the tourists 's intention by natives letters recorded reversely aside said letters indicated by the tourists, the natives recognized their intention indicate the letters of the field language needed for answer recorded in the rear of said interpretation dictionary and thus the tourists can recognize the answer of the natives.
Accordingly, the interlocutors may come to an understanding each other without oral conversation. [Brief Description of Drawings]
