Abstract

Wegmess-Vorrichtung, insbesondere eine magnetostriktive Wegmess-Vorrichtung, wobei ein Wegmess-Element in Längsrichtung der Vorrichtung, ent­lang der vermessbaren Messlänge, verläuft, und demgegenüber ein das Signal auslösender Positionsgeber in Längsrichtung bewegbar ist, mit einem langgestreckten Gehäuse in Form eines hohlen, umfänglich geschlossenen Profiles (1) mit in Längsrichtung (10) gleich bleibender Querschnitts-Kontur, einer Wellenlei­ter-Einheit im Inneren des Profiles (1), wobei der Wellenleiter der Wellenleiter-Einheit in Längsrichtung (10) des Profiles (1) verläuft, einer Auswerte-Elektronik im Inneren des Profiles (1), einem in Längsrichtung (10) außen entlang des Profiles (1) beweglichen Schlitten, insbesondere mit einem Magnet als Signalauslöser, wobei das Profil (1) so gestaltet ist, dass es in einer das Profil (1) über mehr als 180 ° des Umfanges die Außenkontur des Profiles (1) umgebenden, kreisförmigen Innenkontur formschlüssig definiert in Querrichtung positionierbar und dennoch in dieser Innenkontur drehbar ist.
