Definitions
- the present invention relates, in general, to a haircutting blade with an oilless metal piece mounted to a bottom of an engineering plastic body which is assembled with a stationary blade part and a movable blade part moving to the left and right and, more particularly, to a haircutting blade with an oilless metal piece, which is constructed so that the cylindrical oilless metal piece is fitted into a seating depression formed at a rear portion of an engineering plastic body, and a movable blade part, coupled to a front portion of the engineering plastic body equipped with the oilless metal piece, slides on a stationary blade part.
- a stationary blade part is provided at a head of the haircutter.
- a movable blade part is provided on the stationary blade part, and moves to the left and right by an operation of an electric motor, thus cutting hair to a predetermined length.
- a conventional haircutting blade has problems in that the haircutting blade may be worn out, and noise may be generated, due to friction between the movable blade part and the stationary blade part .
- the haircutting blade may be constructed so that a contact force between the movable blade part and the stationary blade part is less.
- the conventional haircutting blade has a problem in that hair is not easily cut.
- FIG. la shows the conventional haircutting blade with the ball.
- a stationary blade part 10 is mounted to a support bracket 15 which is provided at a head of a haircutter.
- a movable blade part 20 is placed on the stationary blade part 10 so that the movable blade part 20 is in close contact with the stationary blade part 10 by an elastic force of a coil spring 40.
- the movable blade part 20 is supported by an engineering plastic body 25.
- a support part of the coil spring 40 is supported by the support bracket 15, while two arms of the coil spring 40 are supported by support holes formed at predetermined portions of the engineering plastic body 25 and through holes formed at predetermined portions of the movable blade part 20.
- a ball guide part made of sponge is provided on a bottom of the engineering plastic body 25 which supports the movable blade part 20, with the ball being seated in the ball guide part.
- the stationary blade part 10 is provided at an end of the support bracket 15, and the ball comes into contact with an upper surface of the stationary blade part 10.
- the ball seated in the ball guide part of the movable blade part 20 comes into contact with the stationary blade part 1 10 while rolling, so that the movable blade part 20 moves to the left and right relative to the stationary blade part 10.
- lb is a schematic view of a conventional movable blade part, according to U.M. Appln. No. 20-2003-0006618 in which etching tips of an electric haircutter are disclosed.
- the movable blade part 5 is mounted on a stationary blade part to move to the left and right. Hair is cut to a predetermined length by the etching tips provided at an edge of each of the stationary and movable blade parts. Further, etched surfaces are formed between the etching tips of the movable blade part 5.
- the above-mentioned utility models accomplish desired contact force and frictional force between the movable and stationary blade parts of the haircutting blade.
- the conventional haircutting blade has a problem in that expensive special steel is used for an entire portion of the movable blade part including an edge thereof, thus causing an increase in production costs thereof.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a haircutting blade, which is constructed so that a cylindrical oilless metal piece is fitted into a seating depression provided at a rear portion of an engineering plastic body, and a guide part is provided at a predetermined portion of a stationary blade part so that the oilless metal piece slides along the guide part, thus accomplishing desired horizontal movement of the movable blade part.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a haircutting blade, which minimizes a size of a movable blade part, thus reducing production costs of the haircutting blade, and which is constructed to efficiently cut hair without using oil.
- the present invention provides a haircutting blade, which includes a stationary blade part supported by a support bracket, a movable blade part mounted to a front portion of an engineering plastic body and placed on the stationary blade part, a coil spring to bias the movable blade part so that the movable blade part is in close contact with the stationary blade part, and an oilless metal piece fitted into a seating depression provided at a rear portion of the engineering plastic body, so that the movable blade part, mounted to the front portion of the engineering plastic body which is equipped with the oilless metal piece, slides on the stationary blade part.
- the oilless metal piece has a cylindrical shape.
- FIG. la is a perspective view of a conventional haircutting blade
- FIG. lb is a schematic view of a conventional movable blade part
- FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a haircutting blade with an oilless metal piece, according to the present invention
- FIG. 3a is a view to show a front of a movable blade part included in the haircutting blade with the oilless metal piece of FIG. 2
- FIG. 3b is a view to show a back of the movable blade part included in the haircutting blade with the oilless metal piece of FIG. 2
- FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the haircutting blade with the oilless metal piece of FIG. 2.
- a stationary blade part 10 of this invention is supported by a support bracket 15 which is provided at a head of a haircutter.
- FIG. 2 is the exploded perspective view of the haircutting blade with the oilless metal piece, according to the present invention.
- FIG. 4 is the sectional view of the haircutting blade with the oilless metal piece of FIG. 2.
- the stationary blade part 10 is mounted to a predetermined portion of the support bracket 15, and the movable blade part 20 is mounted to a front portion of the engineering plastic body 25 in such a way as to be placed on the stationary blade part 10.
- the movable blade part 20 is in close contact with the stationary blade part 10 by a coil spring 40.
- the oilless metal piece 50 is fitted into a seating depression 251 provided at a rear portion of the engineering plastic body 25, so that the movable blade part 20 mounted to the front portion of the engineering plastic body 25 equipped with the oilless metal piece 50 slides on the stationary blade part 10.
- the oilless metal piece 50 has a cylindrical shape .
- the haircutting blade of this invention is equal to conventional haircutting blades filed by this inventor in that a first etched surface is formed at a center of each of etched tips provided at an edge of the movable blade part 20, and a second etched surface is formed between the etched tips of the movable blade part 20 to prevent strands of hair from being jammed between the movable blade part 20 and the stationary blade part 10.
- FIG. 3a which shows the front of the movable blade part included in the haircutting blade with the oilless metal piece
- FIG. 3a shows the front of the movable blade part included in the haircutting blade with the oilless metal piece
- the length of the movable blade part 20 is determined to have 70-80% of a length of the stationary blade part 10. According to the present invention, the size of the movable blade part 20, that is, the length of the movable blade part 20 is reduced as compared with a conventional movable blade part.
- the oilless metal piece 50 fitted into a bottom of the rear portion of the engineering plastic body 25, is inserted into the stationary blade part 10 having a guide part on an upper surface thereof so that the movable blade part 20 moves to the left and right while the oilless metal piece 50 slides along the guide part, thus accomplishing desired horizontal movement of the haircutting blade.
- the present invention provides a haircutting blade, which is constructed so that an oilless metal piece is mounted between a support bracket supporting a stationary blade part, and an engineering plastic body supporting a movable blade part, thus accomplishing desired horizontal movement of the haircutting blade, in addition to achieving desired contact force and frictional force between the stationary blade part and the movable blade part. Further, the size of the movable blade part is reduced in comparison with a conventional movable blade part, so that expensive special steel is less used, thus reducing production costs thereof.
