Abstract

A method of making vermicompost in worm bins which are substantially open to the air, brewing the harvested vermicompost for 3 to 4 days, along with added nutrients, under aerobic, and optionally cool temperatures, to produce vermicompost tea. The vermicompost tea can be applied directly to soil or plants or can be used to saturate carbon based carrier granules to form vermicompost tea granules.
