Abstract

The invention relates to a device for regulating a bicycle suspension saddle stem (i), said device containing a compression and regulation means which is provided with an inner helicoidal spring (g) and is connected, by the lower part thereof, to a regulating element forming a hollow screw (f) arranged in the tube (e). The inventive device comprises a stem (a) connected to at least one means for actuating two co-operating expanders (b, b'), said actuating means comprising at least one pierced part which slides over the stem above the expanders (b, b') and has notches on the inner side thereof co-operating with a notched ring comprising a limb which slides in an oblong hole in the upper part of the upper expander (b'). The stem (a) comprises a rotary driving means and a means for fixing the saddle. The invention also relates to the use of said device for regulating the tension of a suspension saddle stem.

Description

Dispositif de réglage de tension de tige de selle à suspension La présente invention est relative à un dispositif de réglage de tension de tige de selle à suspension. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne le réglage de la dureté de la suspension de selles de cycles et véhicules similaires tels aux véhicules à deux roues reliées par un cadre. Les dispositifs de réglage de tension de tige de selle connus actuellement contenu dans la tige comprennent un moyen de compression et réglage du type à ressort intérieur hélicoïdal relié par partie inférieure à une pièce de réglage formant une vis creuse disposée dans le tube. Ces dispositifs connus exigent pour le réglage de la tension les opérations suivantes : - démontage de la tige (avec la selle), - utilisation d'une clé à alêne (outil nécessaire), -- l'action de vissage et dévissage de la pièce de réglage disposée en partie inférieure pour comprimer plus ou moins le ressort. Ceci pour arriver à une certaine dureté, - tester la dureté, Si nécessaire recommencer le cycle jusqu'à arriver au bon réglage. Ainsi, ce réglage est long et répétitif ; ce qui est complexe et exige l'emport d'un outil adapté. L'emport de matériel est un inconvénient pour un cycliste qui roule sur la route et souhaite adapter la dureté de la selle par un réglage de tension par exemple au moment où il arrive sur un chemin forestier. Le problème posé à la présente invention consiste notamment à pallier ces inconvénients et permettre le réglage par simple rotation de la tige de selle en tournant la selle. Ceci est obtenu en évitant l'utilisation d'outils et le démontage de la tige et en présentant de plus une facilité de réglage certaine, car la selle forme un bras de levier. A cet effet le dispositif selon l'invention comprend une tige munie d'une collerette, reliée à au moins un moyen d'actionnement de deux expandeurs coopérant entre eux, le moyen d'actionnement comprenant au moins une collerette surmontée d'une pièce percée coulissant sur la tige au-dessus des expandeurs. Ladite pièce présentant des crans sur sa face inférieure coopérant avec une rondelle crantée qui présente une patte coulissant dans un trou oblong prévu dans l'expandeur supérieur en partie supérieure ; en partie supérieure la tige comprend une butée dépassant du passage formé par le creux de la vis du moyen de réglage interdisant la sortie de la tige qui' comprend un moyen d'entraînement en rotation et un moyen de solidarisation de la selle. Suivants d'autres caractéristiques du dispositif selon l'invention : la tige présente un filetage inférieur traversant la base inférieure de l'expandeur inférieur ; - la base inférieure de l'expandeur inférieur est muni d'un trou taraudé ; - la face inférieure de la rondelle crantée présente une partie lisse ; - le moyen d'entraînement en rotation de la tige comprend des faces planes formées sur la tige ; - la tige est au moins en partie hexagonale. - la pièce présentant des crans sur sa face inférieure présente un trou traversant hexagonal ajusté coulissant sur la tige ; - la butée est une vis liée à la partie supérieure de la tige de liaison, de tête de diamètre supérieur au creux de la vis de réglage ; - un rétrécissement est réalisé au niveau de l'ouverture inférieure de là tige de selle emprisonnant la vis de réglage, interdisant la possibilité de sortir. L'invention sera mieux comprise, grâce à la description ci-après, qui se rapporte à des modes de réalisation préférés, donnés à titre d'exemples non limitatifs, et expliqués avec référence aux dessins schématiques annexés, dans lesquelles : - La Fig. 1 représente une vue en coupe verticale d'un dispositif de réglage de tension selon un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention monté dans une tige de selle à suspension ; - La Fig. 2 représente une vue en élévation du dispositif selon l'invention représenté sur la Fig. 1 ; - La Fig. 3 représente une vue en élévation du dispositif selon l'invention dans la variante sans le ressort d'arrêt. Le dispositif représenté sur les figures comprend une tige hexagonale a qui actionne par rotation des expandeurs b et b'. Une pièce crantée c située au-dessus des expandeurs b et b' vient au contact d'une rondelle d elle même crantée sur sa partie supérieure afin de permettre le vissage et d'interdire le dévissage. Cette rondelle d est munie d'une patte coulissant dans l'oblong réalisé dans la partie supérieure de l'expandeur supérieur b' qui contribue à interdire le dévissage. La pièce crantée c coulisse sur la tige de liaison a grâce à un trou traversant de forme hexagonal sensiblement égal et de préférence légèrement supérieure au diamètre de la tige a. Par rotation de cette tige a, le double expandeur formé par les expandeurs coopérant entre eux b et b' se bloque dans un tube e de cadre de vélo. La partie supérieure de la tige de liaison hexagonale a est munie d'une vis d de diamètre supérieur au passage de la vis creuse de réglage f afin d'interdire à la tige de pouvoir ressortir. La tige de liaison hexagonale a peut ainsi circuler intérieurement dans la tige de selle i à travers la vis creuse f de la base de la tige de selle jusqu'à la partie supérieure de la tige de selle. La vis creuse f, à la base et à l'intérieur de la tige de selle i peut être actionnée jusqu'au plus haut du taraudage intérieur dans la tige de selle. Sur la partie basse du taraudage, une frappe est effectuée sur la tige de selle ce qui forme un rétrécissement h afin d'interdire à la vis creuse f de pouvoir être dévissée totalement et être sortie de la tige de selle i. De ce fait, le réglage de la suspension se fera uniquement en tournant la selle positionnée sur la tige de selle à droite ou à gauche selon l'effet recherché. Ce système interdit également de désolidariser la tige de selle du tube de selle du cadre du vélo et interdit de ce fait le vol de la tige avec la selle. Il peut constituer un produit de première monte pour les fabricants entres autres de cycles et également de vente autonome, ne nécessitant aucune modification du tube de cadre pour son installation. Bien que l'invention ait été décrite en liaison avec des structures particulières, elle n'y est nullement limitée. De nombreuses variantes restent possibles, notamment du point de vue de la construction des divers éléments par substitution d'équivalents techniques, sans sortir pour autant du domaine de l'invention.
