Abstract

The invention relates to hydraulic engines using a static pressure of a fluid on light bodies which are submerged therein. Said invention can be used for all economy branches in the form of an electric power source or for actuating various machines and mechanisms. The invention makes it possible to simplify the structural design of the hydraulic engine, increase the power output and ecological cleanness of the use thereof. The aim is achieved by the fact that the inventive hydraulic engine comprises top and bottom drums, an endless band which encompasses said drums and is provided with elastic chambers fixed thereto, and a rotatable transfer mechanism for driving the top drum. Said engine also comprises a compressor driven by the top drum, an auxiliary drum provided with an individual drive and an air channel leading from the compressors to the bottom drum. The drums are provided with lateral toothed rims, and the endless band with a lateral perforation. Said elastic chambers are fixed to the external side of the endless band, opened on the side thereof which is disposed bellow when the chamber is filled with air, and provided with holes on the wall thereof which is adjacent to the endless band. The holes of the endless band are provided with nipples which correspond to the holes of the elastic chambers. The bottom drum comprises middle sealed cavity which is provided with holes corresponding to the holes of the endless band and having spring loaded valves radially arranged on the drum in such a way that the holes are alternatively openable when they are in the bottom part thereof.
