Après l' immersion et le retrait des articles 37, le volet d'évacuation 33 est abaissé et le châssis mobile 28 est ramené progressivement au-dessus du bac 29 tout en alimentant la buse de soufflage 37 avec de l'air comprimé ce qui chasse les résidus de feuille de transfert vers le bac de récupération 32. De préférence la cuve est alimentée de façon supplémentaire en liquide afin de provoquer une circulation de liquide dans le sens de l'évacuation des résidus. Le volet amovible 33 est ensuite relevé. L'installation est alors prête pour un nouveau cycle .
