Abstract

Data is transmitted from a base station to a group of user stations, the user stations each determine a reception quality value, transmitted by the user stations to the base station, the reception quality values are compared, by means of the base station or a monitoring device provided for the base station, with an optimum reception quality value interval. Depending on the results of the comparison, a transmission power value is determined and further data transmitted from the base station to the group of user stations using the determined transmission power value.
